Pencil - and color pen drawing. Lower center monogrammed, dated "22 6 72", titled as well as inscribed "Minusio" and "IIIII" bezeichnet. On brownish wove paper. 23.5 x 34.3 cm. , the full sheet [AW].
- The work was created in the summer of 1972 during a trip by Horst Janssen through the Swiss Alps, to Ticino, and on to Minusio in Italy. - The work is dedicated to the artist's mother, Gesche Tietjens, an important companion throughout his life. - Horst Janssen is considered one of the most outstanding and prolific draftsmen and graphic artists of the 20th century.
Private collection (gift from the artist). Private collection, North Germany. Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia (acquired from the above). Private collection, Italy (acquired from the above)
In very good condition.
