Stainless steel. On the lower side of the stele with the engraved signature and the designation “S 20/71”. 125 cm.

- A unique piece. - Statics, dynamics, and balance merge into a floating entity. - Exhibited at documenta 3, 4, and 6. - In 1969, the Grand Prize at the Sao Paolo Biennial earned Erich Hauser international recognition.
LITERATURE: Späth, Lothar (ed.) Kunststiftung Erich Hauser, Erich Hauser. Catalogue raisonné 1960 - 2000, Rottweil 2000, vol. II, p. 63 (illustrated) and. p. 276 (each with erroneous dimensions).

In good condition. With a small spot of corrosion in the upper corner of the stele. Isolated rubbed spots.
