Thinly lined canvas. A small patch, approximately 2 x 2 inches, applied to reverse of canvas in upper right corner. Minor frame abrasion at edges. Very slight yellowing to the varnish layer. A vertical stretcher bar mark faintly visible at center under raking light. Very faint, finely patterned craquelure throughout. A very few small areas of minor surface abrasion. A few scattered small dots of what appears to be errant white paint, and some pinpoint dots of loss which appear to be stabilized beneath the varnish layer. Minor surface dust. Not examined out of frame due to size. Under UV: heavily applied varnish fluoresces green unevenly, somewhat obscuring the picture surface. Varnish appears to have been removed in some areas. Framed Dimensions 54.5 X 46 X 2.5 Inches
