Various Daguerreotypists (mid-19th Century) Seven Daguerreotype Portraits of Couples, 1850s Comprising: A 1/2-plate portrait of a couple, stamped "J. Gurney, 349 Broadway" contained in leather case. A 1/4- plate portrait of an elderly couple, contained in leather case. A 1/4-plate portrait of a couple, contained in book-form "Memory's Leaflet" leather case. A 1/6-plate portrait of a couple, contained in a leather case, the pad stamped "G. J. Goodridge, York, PA" A 1/6-plate portrait of a couple, contained in a leather case, with paper note attached to pad stating "Taken about 1858". A 1/6-plate portrait of a couple, with half leather case. A 1/6-plate portrait of a couple, contained in brass mat and preserver. Glenalvin J.
