Dresdner Sezession 89

In the time of social change in December 1989, 23 women artists joined together to form the Dresdner Sezession 89 e. V.. The name was deliberately taken up again and refers to the historical secession movements, to which women artists were mostly denied access at the time. In their manifesto, the women artists clarify their view that in the modern world the female mode of perception is needed starting from the female sense of identity.
