BLOK

The artists' association BLOK, founded in Warsaw in 1924, occupies an important position within the avant-garde in Poland. The stylistically heterogeneous artists were united by the striving for a new art that corresponded to the guidelines of Constructivism and should fulfil the demands of clarity, technology and functionality represented by the group.
