Action Painting

Action painting broke with all the rules of traditional easel painting. The canvases, usually lying on the floor, are worked on from all sides by pouring, dripping or spraying and are understood as spontaneously documented formulations of the artist, who allows his experiences and sensations during the creative process to flow unfiltered into the work.
