- Extraordinary form. - Dynamic overpainting in richly layered colors. - In the same private collection in South Germany for 45 years. - Arnulf Rainer is the European equivalent of American Abstract Expressionism (Jan Hein Sassen, 2006 in the catalog of Galerie Ulysses, Vienna).

In good condition. isolated small areas of color loss. Small areas of color loss on the right edge of the image. Overall, the composition captivates with the luminosity of the layers of paint and the overpainting.
