“In Fetting's nude paintings, the naked body has its great stage appearance. Bathed in gently glistening light, the body becomes a source of light for the painting itself, or it appears as a mysterious shadowy figure against a glowing background. His nudes are always color-bodies; they arise and define themselves in the painting through the direction of light and the flow of color. In good condition. The canvas is slightly warped due to a loss of tension. Minimally rubbed in places. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
