Design sketch for the painting in the Lehman Collection of the Metropolitan Museum, New York.
Date: 1850-53.
Technique: Black chalk on tracing paper.
Mounting: Mounted.
Measurement: 31.5 x 30cm.
Notation: Atelier stamp lower right: "JI", as well as upper right in mirror writing (as verso on the tracing paper): "étude d'apres Me la Princesse de Broglie".
Frame: Framed.
The stamp is registered with Lucht under the number L. 1477.
