Unlined canvas. Stretcher bar marks visible near edges under raking light. Slight yellowing to the varnish layer. Finely patterned craquelure throughout. A very few small dots of loss. Some scattered small dots of minor surface abrasion and darkened accretion. Minor surface dust. Not examined out of frame. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. An older campaign of extensive but very finely applied retouching visible beneath the varnish layer, appearing to address craquelure. A more recent campaign of restoration appears above the varnish layer as some scattered small dots of brushy retouching, primarily near the edges of the work. Framed Dimensions 19.5 X 23.5 X 2.5 Inches
